Some Tiny Installation Art by Slinkachu

Slinkachu is a UK based artist, his series 'The Little People Project' is both a street art installation and photography project that started in 2006, and is a really unique artistic endeavor that uses simple everyday objects, small figurines and ingenious placement to create a great effect.

The series is about humorously exploring the feeling of loneliness in a big city (London in this case), and how overwhelming and secluding that can be - every little person in their own little world. Interestingly this idea comes through in the reception of work like this as no one would even notice these pieces actually walking by them.

Slinkachu's work is very vibrant, playful and fresh but it also has an absurd feel to it, I also really enjoy his clever and fitting titles for the pieces. His project succeeds much in part to his great use of perspective and proportions, though credit it definitely owed to his photography skills as well - which really let the installation shine.

You have to be looking at the world in a pretty interesting way to come up with this kind of stuff. If you want some more, check out his website or blog.
