Gavin Worth is an interesting and versatile self-taught artist. He works in many media including sculpture, painting, drawing, paper and design. In my opinion, he is a particularly talented sculptor and illustrator. Here's a video of a wire sculpture he did that reveals a face at a specific angle, though every other angle is just as important.
Wire sculpture by Gavin Worth
Gavin Worth has led a pretty interesting life. He was born in Zimbabwe, and grew up in New Mexico. He has a degree in acting, and has spent a lot of time as an actor and musician but has always had a passion for art. He's a self taught artist, which is quite impressive considering the precision of his work. He's lived in San Fransisco for 8 years, and recently moved to Cairo, Egypt to work at the American International School.
These are some mixed media pieces done on cardboard with paint, he cleverly uses the medium to his advantage here. Interesting work, I haven't really seen much like it. His sketchbook and his T-rex sculpture are also definitely worth a glance.
